About Summer Art Camp
A five-week summer project-based course for the creative spirit.
This course was inspired by my love of Summer School as a young girl, as well as past summers I’ve spent with my son making art + memories together. Recently, I’ve been attending Oakland Feather River Camp as a famiily + it has reignited my love of Summer Camp. Simple projects. Endless variations. Sweet keepsakes.
I'm sharing these ideas to help get us into the business of creating small, manageable, fun creative projects you can complete in one sitting and/or duplicate over the summer months by yourself, with little ones, inspired art dates with friends...whatever you wish.
This is an open invitation to tap into your creative spirit + not take Art (with a capital A) so seriously.
Permission to have fun + gather with other like-minded spirits.
We will meet weekly on Saturdays in June at 11 am PST / 2 pm EST. And, here are the themes/projects we will dive into:
Week 1 (6/1) - Introduction + Supply List
Week 2 (6/8) - Selfie Journal
Week 3 (6/15) - Mantra Rocks
Week 4 (6/22) - Printmaking + Pen Pals
Week 5 (6/29) - Pocket Altars
Supply list provided inside the course. The course is OPEN now to check-in + get ready.
I'm really looking forward to spending time with you during the month of June + getting my hands dirty (or sparkly, as the case may be!).

Private online community + course access. The course materials, discussions, live call event info, and more will be in one place!
Five 1-hour workshops (with replays provided).
I'll be active in the online community to address your questions and comments throughout the course.

Tammi Salas is a Sober. Dignified. Creative. Woman.
She is a painter, diligent list-maker, certified gray area drinking coach and Art4Healing facilitator. She once co-hosted the wildly popular Unruffled Podcast, a pod that explored the intersection between creativity and recovery. Currently, she is the Ringleader behind the weekly online creative salon, the Ray of Light Community. She makes art every single day and documents her forays, sobriety milestones and creative offerings on her website and Instagram. She lives in Northern California and daydreams about moving to Paris.
