Everyday Devotion:

Tarot + The Elements

The Everyday Devotion retreat includes four workshops, each focusing on one of the four elements - air, water, earth and fire - and the tarot cards they rule over. In addition, we will explore the city of Phoenix while spending meaningful time getting to know more about ourselves and each other. We are committed to making this retreat a positive and empowering time for all participants.

During our time together, you will create a personal notebook (all supplies included) of tarot knowledge, wisdom and connections. This will be key in allowing you to continue this tarot journey at home.

What you will learn as a result of attending this workshop:

    • a brief history of tarot

    • the basic structure of a tarot deck

    • how to utilize your understanding of the four elements to better interpret the meaning/message of tarot cards

    • simple ways to begin or continue a sustainable tarot practice at home

    • the connection between tarot and astrology

    • how tarot cards can enrich your life by helping you better understand yourself and others

    • ways to tap into your life experience and intuition when working with the tarot deck

  • all tarot cards have positive guidance and wisdom to share with us

  • tarot is best utilized for personal understanding and living in the present moment, NOT for predicting future events

  • that simple acts of devotion and ritual can enhance and improve our lives

  • being in the presence of supportive, kind, and curious women is powerful, restorative medicine for our minds body, heart and soul
