Ray of Light Art Tutorial pdf
For almost a decade, I’ve been creating beautiful, colorful artwork inspired by the flag design of the State of Arizona (my mother’s home state) + the resilient women in recovery I featured back in 2017 in my Ray of Light Interview Series (52 women in total). That year, in my early recovery, I posted an interview + accompanying artwork every Friday on my blog.
This was my passion project + it helped keep me focused on making art each day, as well as helping me sturdy up my life in sobriety.
I used to do commissions for clients, but it became too taxing for me emotionally. Now I do a few for family members, close friends + loved ones who have left this world.
This is a 16-page, step-by-step, color tutorial to help guide you as you make your very own Ray of Light work of art.
